Like other CT compressors, the new CTN4 provides an ideal and cost-effective solution for several mobile applications, for example, mining, construction, CAFS, and transport.

All our products are the result of a long product development and we want them to be long-lasting and loyal partners for your application.

You probably want your oil lubricated air end to be as efficient and economical as possible but you also want your pressured air as clean as possible. Constant development is one of our principles at Tamrotor and superior oil separation development is one our passions. About two years ago we launched our new oil separator family for tempest products (TN3 to T25) with new generation oil separator elements.

Tamrotor factory and functions are located in Tampere, Finland. Our factory has all functions under the same roof and all the departments are working together. In production, we have about 100 people: one third works in machining, another third in assembly and the rest in supporting functions, such as trial run, final inspection, production development, and material management. The manufacturing staff works flexibly in 2-3 shifts. In logistics, we use an outsourced third party service.

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer. OEM compressor manufacturer sells air ends and compressor packages directly to the OEM customers who are the manufacturers of their own designed compressors or compressed air systems.

CT serie compressors are our most pre-made OEM compressor products. CT is otherwise a complete compressor but lacks a starter, hence CT -compressors are easy to integrate in variety of compressed air applications and control interfaces.

As you may have noticed, Gardner Denver and Ingersoll Rand Industrial Technologies merged in March. For Tamrotor, this doesn’t cause any changes: We will have the same people and our factory will stay in Tampere.

Wherever there is industrial activity, compressed air is usually needed. Although electric actuators have replaced the traditional pneumatic applications in some cases, there are and always will be new applications for compressed air (such as in fish farming).

Kimi Hakulinen, 19, is graduating from Tredu (vocational school in Tampere, Finland) to be a machinist. The three year studies will be finished with a 14 week internship at our factory.

This year will be a busy year for Champion, with the new FM series of 90-132 kW rotary screw compressors being launched.
